Snizz Down The Stretch

After another grueling session of heartbreaking losses and nail biting victories the Snizz yet again stand facing a post season birth within their grasp. Currently only 3 points behind 1st place, the Snizz sit on thin ice in 4th place with the final match of the session looming. Simply put, Sunday's match is win or go home. I suppose all a squad can ask for is to have their own destiny in their hands, which is right where the Snizz precariously find themselves. The outlook bodes well however, coming off a strong showing in a 1-0 loss to first place United and a 3-1 victory over 2nd place A.C. Mola Jrs the Snizz square off against the winless Raptors. But, this will not be a gimme as the Raptors opened the session with tight 0-1 loss to the Snizz. The stakes are high and the tension will be thick as the playoff atmosphere envelops the pitch Sunday night at 8:00pm.

SNIZZ SNAP LOSING STREAK, REMAIN IN PLAYOFF CONTENTION

After a great 3-0 start to the season was followed by an four game losing streak, the Snizz have remained positive and bounced back into the win column with a 1-0 victory over Chelsea last Sunday. John Toth provided the game's lone goal. The victory moved the Snizzbusters up to 5th place in the standings. With two important games remaining, we are in a good position to become one of the eight teams who compete in the playoffs. The Snizz faithful...

So far we have zero pictures to post of the actual Real Snizzbusters in action...so for the time being I've decided to post a picture of the Snizz faithful. I'm personally disappointed that Steve was not present within this great picture since he seems to be Snizz Fan #1...anyways, I hope this will motivate everyone to take some pictures of the futbol action during this weeks game.
Snizz HQ hopes to see everyone out this Sunday (May 23, 2010 @ 6:40 pm) dressed in orange and with cow bells in hand.

"THE RAGING SNIZZBUSTERS MOVE TO FIRST PLACE"

Thanks to a stout defensive effort, outstanding efficiency on finishing shot opportunities, and some incredibly poor shot accuracy by Arsenal, the Real Snizzbusters have taken their third game in a row to move to first place in the Schaumburg Men's Recreational Outdoor Soccer League. After brilliant goals from James Corsiglia and Mike Wereski, our scrappy defense refused to allow an equalizer and proved victorious.

Thanks to all of our fans for showing up and sporting the orange last Sunday you guys are awesome! Keep up the good work, fellow Snizzbusters.

Greetings fellow Snizz, Snizz-lingz, and Snizzards!

Hey yallz, this is the OFFICIAL website/blog of the Real Snizzbusters futbol club from Chicago, Illinois. Our main goal with this site is to keep the Snizz team connected with our ever-growing fan base via the use of magic and technology.

The Snizz headquarters have spent many hours at the bar brainstorming ideas for this site and have concluded that we will try to update this site on a weekly basis (hopefully more often - pending time and materials). Snizz HQ has determined that weekly game updates, schedule reminders, pictures, rumor millz, and player spotlights will be implemented in the near future. In return, this will hopefully keep our team members and fan base semi-entertained between weekly games.

Furthermore, additional write-ups, entries, post, articles (whatever you may call it) are encouraged from team members and the fan community. Also, pictures and videos would be greatly welcome!

…like sand through the hour glass, these are the astonishing tales of the Real Snizzbusters!

BigWersk's BLAST

Welcome to "The Blast"

I plan on writing a bunch of stupid shit some of which might actually be beneficial to the squad and our followers.

We hung on by the skin of our teeth last night. Some might think that a negative perspective, however I assure you its positive. We played poorly in respect to ball control and dictating pace, yet we were still able to deny the equalizer. More importantly, if you can win while not playing your best, then you know the team has heart. As long as Snizz plays hard, we're going to be in every game.
